In the Earth’s seas one finds treasures that are without parallel on the surface. Beneath the waters are found some exotic pearls which when stringed together form such beauties as the Black Pearl Necklace and the White Pearl necklace. All the featured pearls are renowned and cherished for their luster, color and beauty of shape.
Black Pearl Necklaces or also known as Tahitian pearl necklaces are comprised of black pearls found around the islands of French Polynesia. Among these the ones with green overtones are considered extremely rare and hence very valuable. Those with no such overtones are not considered as valuable and may be half as costly as the other type.
The size of the pearl is usually 9mm size and they are cultured from the black-lipped oyster. Tahitian pearls are considered valuable because the rate of the oysters to produce fine, round pearls is very low.
